Well idk about the dumbest but this qualifies in the top 5 for me. My brother asked "how does rain come out of all that smoke? Like, isn't it weird to you how it all ends up there?" So i said "that's vapor, not smoke" and he looked confused cause he genuinely believed that when you heat up water, the thing that comes up is smoke. Cause it looks like smoke. He's almost 17.
